Because I have created the The Suspects post, and I'm 100% OCD about everything, I have also decided to create The Flashbacks post and The -A Letters post, in order to keep all of these organized and together in one place, versus spread out throughout the blog. I will refer back to these posts throughout my blog, and I will keep these posts in chronological order according to the Episode and Season in which they are released. Be sure to check back with every new post to see what I've updated!

Season 1
Episode 1 - Pilot
Flashback 1
- The first flashback we're introduced to features Mona Vanderwall, Allison DiLaurentis, and Aria Montgomery. When the flashback begins, we see Allison and Aria walking down a road eating ice-cream or frozen yogurt, can't really tell which, but which isn't really a huge factor so I didn't look into it too much. What is a key factor, is Mona.
- Here we see Mona--a total geek despite her being très chic in real Rosewood time. Allison of course thinks it's hilarious that Mona is trying to get into the group and blows her off, despite Aria asking if maybe they should stop to see what she wants. Instead, Allison tells her to run, and so they duck down a side alley. Mona of course gives up and turns around, looking like she's about to burst into tears. I think we all feel for Mona at this point. I mean, even after knowing she's on the -A team I feel bad for her!
- The flashback finishes with Aria and Allison seeing Aria's dad making out with a young blonde in the backseat of his car. Aria's Mom, of course, still has no idea it happened because in real Rosewood time, Byron is still making sure Aria keeps their little secret.
Flashback 2
- Our second flashback is much longer than the first. This one features Spencer Hastings, Melissa Hastings, Allison DiLaurentis, Hanna Marin, and Ian Thomas. When the flashback begins, you see that Spencer, Hanna, and Allison all standing in Spencer's kitchen. They're all dressed in Swimwear, other than Hanna, so you know it's summertime, sometimes before Allison's disappearance. It's assumed that all of these flashbacks are from the summer of Allison's disappearance, but it's never really confirmed I don't believe. Still, if they are, then my theory has even more credibility.
- So the girls are all standing around, munching on snacks and chatting, when Hanna goes to eat a cookie. Hanna of course is the one who's slightly heavier than the rest of the girls, but I personally feel she looks great and shouldn't be tormented as she is by Allison about it. But of course, we're talking about Allison here, so of course she has to chide Hanna about the cookie, in that lovely way of hers. Spencer of course looks at Allison like "What are you doing?" and Allison's common response is "I'm only looking out for her!"
- Now, during all of this, Melissa and her then boyfriend Ian walk in from outside. Hellos are exchanged, Ian flirty with Spencer, and Allison flirty with Ian. Obviously showing signs of something going on right then and there. Allison looks at Spencer with annoyance and disgust when Ian flirts with her, obviously jealous because she wants Ian. So what does Allison do? Do what Allison does best. Threaten to expose secrets. The secret on today's menu? The fact that Spencer kissed Ian, who's dating her older sister Melissa. Of course, Melissa hears Allison's comment of "You need to tell your sister." Spencer, luckily, is able to blow it off for that moment, and drags Allison outside to talk.
- With reason, Spencer is angry and demands to know what Allison is doing. Allison retaliates with sass saying "Melissa's going to find out." When Spencer denies that will happen, Allison threatens that if Spencer isn't the one that says something, then Allison herself will tell Melissa the special news. Now, during this conversation, you can see the jealousy growing within Allison, throwing up major red flags on the situation.
- Now, Spencer is a Hastings, and Hastings don't like being pushed around, especially when secrets are on the line. Unfortunately, Allison is the same and she hates being confronted by her "underlings". Spencer, in all her attitude glory, stands up to Allison and warns that if she says a single word to Melissa, then she'll tell the truth to everyone in Rosewood about "the Jenna thing."
- Allison, of course, has nothing to say in retaliation, but you can see the anger growing as her "fledgling" stood up against her. It's safe to assume that the wheels were turning in Allison's head at that moment about how she can get back at Spencer for her little uprising.
