Are you as excited as I am to start digging into this series and tearing it apart for clues? Re-watching Episode 1 has really made me re-look at what we just saw in the 3A Season Finale. Perhaps my theory is wrong, but just bear with me and hear me out. If you follow my thinking, you'll see where I'm coming from! So let's start with some basics!
Note: This format will be used for all of my future blog posts that are episode related.

Okay, wow. All I can say is just... wow. I had forgotten how intense and full of information being slapped into your face this episode was! Let's first take a look at the night of Allison's disappearance.
When I first watched this episode, so much was thrown at me that I was overwhelmed and I was just left floored afterwards, which of course is ultimately the goal of every new TV Series. However, re-watching, I feel that there were so many things that should have been red flags that I honestly believe I missed! For starters, why did Allison insist on getting the girls to drink more than what they already are? Was it because she had somewhere to be, despite arriving late, and wanted the girls crashed before she left? What happened after they were intoxicated, but before they crashed? Allison's key phrase was that if they drank enough, they would spill all their secrets. She said this in particular to Aria, but looked at the group. What was she trying to spill out of them? Or was it just an Allison-thing, just simply wanting to have fun and get whatever information she could on the girls like always?
Now, they're all 15 years old when this is going on, so obvious under-age drinking going on here. They were in Spencer's barn that night. How can such a prestigious lawyer like Veronica Hastings NOT know what's going on in her own back yard? I hardly see this as something she would permit given that she's so anal about Spencer having a great college application so she can make it into Yale or Princeton. Maybe she was out of town. Maybe Spencer's father wasn't there either. Maybe this is just coincidental. But what if there's something more to read into there? What if we're missing some crucial moment from that night?
What gets me the most though, is how is Spencer never questioned during this entire situation? When Aria wakes up from the storm, she sees that Spencer and Allison were missing. Now, we know from the flashbacks that Spencer and Allison had a shaky relationship and were constantly butting heads, probably because Spencer liked being in control but wasn't where the group was concerned because Allison was considered their ring leader.
[I'm posting this as a WIP so you don't think I've forgotten about you! I've been extremely busy with college the past few weeks, plus been extremely sick, but my goal is to finish this analysis during my November break or after I get out in December! I know this is taking forever, and I very much apologize! However, I hope you'll keep checking back and continue to keep up with me! You'll for SURE see a lot of updates during my Winter break!!]
